Magusto Rock
Magusto Rock is a tiny music festival taking place in Alpedriz, a small Portuguese village and organised by ABESRA , the local association ran by a young and very motivated crew.
They reached out and ask me to do the graphic identity for the 2024 edition, so I took this opportunity to go back to drawing posters in my favourite way which is by getting my hands dirty and mixing whatever media is available at my office.
The process
They gave me total creative liberty and after discussing and sharing some references we started working on something that would allow them to easily iterate the poster idea to any other formats – social media but also printing assets.
I used the drawing ink for the title, the ink pens and soft pencil for the remaining text and picked up the yellow soft pastel to work on doodles and painted areas that could be used as background.
